Kids love to wear their own artwork

THE most popular craft party activity! A really fun creative idea for mixed boys and girls parties, as kids will have a wild time designing their own fashion statement!

We also add Embellishments to let their creativeness go further, (e.g. shimmering butterflies, hearts, flowers), or multi-coloured jewels to add a sparkly effect and also a great selection of different ribbons to trim and add to make a cool effect.

Design your t-shirt around a party theme. Some ideas are:

Mermaid design - draw a mermaid, colour in with pens or paint, add some jewels to her tail for a dazzling effect, add some ribbons for her long flowing hair. Football design - boys can write the name and number of their favourite football player - cool! Or even better, write their own name and their position number.

Funky Diva - design a girl in a funky outfit and colour in. Add some ribbons and jewels on the clothes, some embellishments around the design and wow! Have a fashion show with everyone showing off their t-shirts at the end of the party.

Rock Chick Party - for a small elite party, create a band name for you and your friends design a t-shirt each with your band name on and when you have finished go wild with some karaoke.

Sleepover Party - use the large sized t-shirts to design some cool nightwear for your sleepover club. Bon Nuit!

THE PARTY BECOMES THE PARTY BAG. Every guest goes home with a unique t-shirt.

OUR AIM IS TO SUPPLY A CREATIVE PARTY IDEA THAT KIDS WILL LOVE AND AFTER THE FUN - SOMETHING TO TAKE HOME TO TREASURE.

INSTRUCTIONS

This Party Box contains many small parts that should be kept away from small children. Under no circumstances should any of the contents be swallowed.

1. We suggest that you set up the party table before any guests arrive, with each guest given a space at the table where they can work on their craft. HINT: Keep wet wipes and kitchen roll handy.

2. To protect against spills, cover the table with the pink table cover provided. The fabric paint supplied is permanent and will stain surfaces and clothing.

3. Having everything laid out for the guests will assist them in the creative process, as they will see all they have available to use.

4. Each guest should place the piece of paper provided inside the shirt, this will prevent paint applied to the front of the shirt soaking through to the back of the shirt. HINT: If the paint is applied to thick it will take longer to dry and there will be a higher risk of smudging. If the guests want the paint to be thicker, rather let the first layer dry and then apply a second layer. HINT: Hairdryers work great in drying the paint!

5. Try and get the guests to spend 5 minutes planning what they want to do on their shirts ? easier with older children! Diving straight in will seldom lead to the result they want!

6. They can then use their fabric paint and glossy writers to complete their design. There is the same number of glossy writers as there are guests, however, the guests can easily exchange colours should they want to use more than one colour in their design.

7. Once the guests have completed the design using the paint and the glossy writers, they can begin to apply their decorations to the shirt. This is done by applying a small drop of the paint from the glossy writer to the back of the decoration. The paint needs to dry before the decorations are fixed to the T-Shirt. HINT: This is another time when the hairdryer will come in handy.
