I have always loved creating childrens parties, whether it be for my children, nephews and nieces or friends. To me a birthday party should be a magical event that the child remembers for ever and that friends don't want to miss each year. From the detail of the invitation down to the tablecover and décor, all needs to be right to create the magic!

Following a birthday party I am often told that I should consider doing it for a living, that the parties are wonderful and other parents would love to hold similar parties. I have always resisted the idea as I did not want to give up my time with my family on weekends in order to attend birthday parties. However, with the increasing time pressure parents are under today and the thought that there may be a way to create great parties without having to be present at the party, I started to develop the idea of Party In A Pink Box.

The difficult part of a magical birthday party is not the event itself, it is the planning and sourcing for the party. I have taken these away from you, I offer a number of tried and tested party themes on the site and I have gone out and sourced the most suitable products for each theme. I have not hunted down cheap products, I have hunted down quality products as cheaply as possible. While this approach has sometimes driven my husband round the bend, I am confident you will agree that for some things nothing beats the right quality!
